Meet Our Restaurant Manager Brooke Burton
From growing up in Loudonville and attending Shaker High School to volunteering at the Ladies Auxiliary at the Shaker Road Firehouse for 14 years, Brooke Burton has always been an integral part of the local community. Brooke graduated from Paul Smith’s College in 2004 with a degree in Culinary Arts and has been working in the field of culinary arts for the past 20 years. Brooke’s culinary career path began at Yono’s Restaurant in Albany, New York and she has done everything from farming at Shaker Shed to fine dining.
Starting as a front desk host 6 years ago, Brooke joined the Afrim’s Sports’ team in 2013 and has since taken the lead as the Food and Beverage Director of Afrim’s Sports 4 locations. Brooke has been integral in creation of the Sports Park’s new Tavern On The Turf restaurant and she has put her heart and soul into crafting a full menu, taking the Afrim’s concessions to the next level. When she isn’t in the kitchen, you can find Brooke out on the field playing in one of Afrim’s Sports’ adult leagues. Stop by for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and see how great Brooke (and her food) really is!
